Create discharge documents
During a ward round, a junior doctor is asked to send a copy of the discharge letter to a Dr Smith. Will it be remembered eight days later when the patient is sent home?
With Healthspring, the junior doctor can immediately compose the discharge letter on the handheld device, adding relevant information such as results. The discharge letter is stored and finalised on a desktop PC when the patient is discharged.
Automatic medications list
At discharge, a list of medications can be selected for copying into discharge documents such as the discharge prescription, discharge letter, domiciliary nursing letter, Hospital in the Home letter.
During inpatient episodes, the list of current medications can also be selected for copying into referral and follow-up letters. Healthspring automates the propagation of the current medications list into any required documents.
