Healthspring was built with assistance from m.Net Corporation and Telstra Broadband Fund as part of the mNet Australia Project.
Proof of concept
The Healthspring proof-of-concept was successfully modelled using a wireless LAN and the GPRS network in Whyalla (late 2002) with the South Australian Centre for Remote and Rural Health. Clinicians have had input through the proof-of-concept and the current proposed pilot implementation.
